Plastic is a versatile material used in the horticulture industry, such as tree guards, plants pots, and mulch film. However, these plastics can escape into the environment, getting into our soil, rivers and eventually our sea!
This resource is the third part of a series of three looking at sources and impacts of plastic pollution as well as possible solutions and good waste management practice. Each lesson contains a powerpoint with activities included.
This resource will:

- Outline waste regulation using examples of good waste management, and waste crime as a consequence of poor waste management
